This page is an educational resource for ordering your own prints. I want to help you get the most out of your digital photos waiting to be printed. Because the printing is all up to you, I took the two most convenient options and set up a comparison of the more major points to consider when choosing one (or both) to utilize.

Important things to be aware of:

  • If given the option, always choose to print in Lusture / Matte Finish (never glossy)
  • Always choose a few test prints in both black and white styles when using a new print service to make sure you like the final outcome (the print lab via your gallery is guaranteed to turn out great).
  • Watch for the Crop Warning! (at any printer you decide on).
  • Never email your digital image to yourself for printing. Email systems are programmed to truncate (reduces the quality) of image to save on space in the digital airways — your image may turn out blurry (aka pixelated).

You can print your images through the professional lab from within your online gallery, they print gorgeous. I highly recommend especially for Black & White images. The lab is WHCC, and they only partner with photographers. This print prices are pretty reasonable for the quality of prints.

You are free to download your hi-res images and upload them to other printing services such as CostcoPhotoCenter.com or MPix.com. The cheapest option being Costco of course, however, try some tester black & white images as I have never fully been happy with their quality. MPix may be fairly competitive with WHCC, however, they do offer email discount incentives around holidays apoteksv.se.

Canvases: Costco is fine, but I also suggest you sign-up for CanvasOnDemand.com to receive great discounts all year long. I would shop and choose sizes you want and wait to receive a discount in your inbox around and near holiday’s to make the best of how expensive canvases can be. I really love the quality of the finished product from Canvas on Demand vs. Costco.

Lastly, if you want some fun photo gifts, Costco has a variety of gifts, but also Zazzle.com has a ton of variety for any gift you could think to put a photo on. I hope you enjoy your photos to the fullest!
